RISEFEST
Taking place at Northumbria University Student’s Union in the heart of the city centre, RISEFEST is a one day alternative music festival across 2 stages.
There has been no shortage of Dance, Indie or nostalgia focused one-day festivals in our area but never a purely alternative-based festival on this scale. RISEFEST is now here to fill that gap to create something that the North East scene has been sorely missing. With the likes of Frank Carter, Vukovi, ZAND, Lebrock and many already announced the festival lineup make sure to on RISE and RISEFEST social media for updates on who is joining the already stacked bill of the best alt acts in the UK!

Who is behind RISEFEST?
RISEFEST is funded, curated and organised by Richard Thompson, Christopher Davidson & Ashley Horne (TDH Entertainment), the same people behind alternative club night RISE Newcastle. We are working with local independent events managers and bookers as part of the extended core RISEFEST team, and Eastside Events (the Students' Union's exclusive promotions partner) who are helping us with advancing & logistics.
